LiteON E200 SATA III Solid State Drive

Through LiteON is not the brand we often see on consumer SSD products, it has a range of OEM products that are being released with Plextor branding, including M3S, M2S. The firm has now brought its new series of consumer product, the E200 series solid state drive. Using SATA III 6Gbps high-speed interface, the SSD also includes True Speed technology for sustained performance.
The E200 comes in 80GB and 160GB capacities and offers up to 50MB/s read and 240MB/s write speeds. The 2.5-inch SSD comes with a 3.5-inch bracket so you can also upgrade your desktop hard drive easily. It supports Windows 7 TRIM commands.

NEC MultiSync EA223WM LED-backlit Display for Enterprise

NEC added to ots business-oriented MultiSync EAseries the new EA223WM for high-performance enterprise users. The 22-inch LED-backlit monitor uses 16:10 TN panel and features 1680×1050 native resolution, 1000:1 typical contrast ratio, 25,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 5ms response time and 178/178-degree viewing angle. It comes with a fully adjustable stand with 130mm height-adjust, tilt, swivel and pivot.
The slim and light MultiSync EA223WM supports ControlSync, which enables synchronized adjustment of multi-screen setup of up to six MultiSync EA Series displays. It provides DisplayPort, DVI-D and VGA inputs and has integrated 4-port USB hub, and built-in 1Wx2 stereo speakers. The business monitor offers touch-sensitive OSD controls and integrated cable management.

NEC MultiSync EA223WM will be released in April for $259.

Zotac ZBOX nano XS AD11 Plus Small Form Factor PC

Zotac introduces its latest mini PC, the ZBOX nano XS Plus which is the world’s smallest PC capable of HD computing that “redefined mini PC form factor.” The new small form factor PC is powered by AMD’s E450 dual-core 1.65GHz Accelerated Processor and a Radeon HD6320 graphics processor, featuring Steady Video, Perfect Picture HD and AMD Vision technology. It comes with 2GB of RAM and a 64GB mSATA SSD for faster boot time and system responsiveness.
The ZBOX nano XS AD11 Plus measures sports a 6-in-1 card reader and provides HDMI output.. The little box has two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports and a combo eSATA/USB port. It has integrated IR receiver and comes with a MCE-compatiable remote control. Gigabit Ethernet LAN port is including and a USB 802.11B WiFi adapter is bundled for wireless connectivity.

The Zotac ZBOX nano XS AD11 Plus mini PC also comes with a VESA 75/100 mount for you to attach it to a monitor.

Intel SSD 330 Series SATA III Solid State Drive

Intel announced its new SSD 330 Series of solid state drive using SATA 6Gbps interface, which is designed to provide budget-conscious consumers with a more affordable entry into the accelerated storage performance of SSDs. based on Intel’s 25nm MLC NAND flash memory and using SATA III 6 6Gbps, the SSD 330 utilizing SandForce;s SF-2281 controllers, instead of Intel’s own chip.
The SSD 330 series offers up to 550MB/s sequential read speeds and up to 450MB/s sequential write speeds for faster data transfer, and a random read performance of up to 22,500IOPS and 33,000 write IOPS, boosting overall application and system responsiveness, significantly outperforming a typical consumer hard disk drive. The series comes in 2.5-inch/9.5mm form factor and is available in 60GB, 120GB and 180GB capacities.

Aimed at entry-level, mainstream client users, the SSD 330series is priced at $89 for 60GB, $149 for 120GB and $234 for 180GB.

ADATA XGP SX900 Solid State Drive

ADATA adds the SX900 solid state drive to its XGP (Ctream Performance Grar) lineup. The hig-performance SSD utilizes SandForce 2281 SSD controller and SATA 6Gbps interface, offering up to 550MB/s read and 530MB/s write speeds, with maximum randon 4k write speed as high as 85,000 IOPS.
Thr XPG SX900 uses MLC uses NAND flash and comes in 64GB, 128GB, 256GB and 512GB capacities. The 2.5-inch SSD supports Windows TRIM optimization command that can directrly delete storaed data in the Flash memory and release unused space (Free Blocks) to be used for system writes immediately, for accelerated performance.

Intel Launches its Ivy Bridge Processor

Intel has announced to launch its Ivy Bridge family processors.

Originality, Intel was supposed to launch the new CPU family on April 29, but after the numerous delays, doing it a bit early won’t anyone.

Built around the 22nm manufacturing process, the Ivy Bridge CPUs features Intel’s 3D tri-gate transistors technology, which boosts power efficiency.
Initially, 13quad-core processors of the Core 15 and Core i7 variety are hitting the shelves, most of them aimed at desktop computers. Unfortunately for the ultrabook lovers, dual-core and ultra low voltage Ivy Bridge chips will be delayed yet again until some time later in summer.

The future looks bright for the company, as Intel plans to launch chips with 14nm transistors in 2013, and by 2015 it should even hit 10nm mark. Moor’e law looks to be hard at work at Intel’s labs.

Silicon Power Velox V60 Solid State Drive

Silicon Poser introduces its new series of SATA III solid state drive – Velox V60. Featuring an aluminum metal body with metallic gray finish, the V60 uses SATA III interface and utilizes SandForce controller, and delivers up to 550MB/s read and 500MB/s write speeds. The new series is available in 60GB, 120GB, 240GB and 480GB capacities.
The Volex V40 includes DureWrite and wearleveling for extended endurance as well as support for TRIM command, Garbage Collection technology, ECC (Error Checking and Correcting) and S.M.A.R.T. The 2.5-inch SSD comes with 3.5-inch adapter bracket for use on desktop computers.

Netgear R6300 WiFi Router with Broadcom WiFi IEEE 802.11ac chips

Netgear introduces the R6300, the first WiFi router powered by Broadcom’s WiFi IEEE 802.11ac chips, enable 5th generation WiFi (5G WiFi) at gigabit speeds that is up to 3x faster than 802.11n.

The router delivers a high transfer speed, ofering up to 1300Mbps on 5GHz and 450 Mbps on 2.4GHz, with support for simultanious dual-band WiFi technology. Of course, the router is also commpatiable with WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n for optimum interportability. It has a elegant new design that is stylish and space-saving.

The Netgear R6300 is equipped with high-powered radio amplifiers for boosted performance, and 128MB flash of RAM. The 802.11ac router also support ReadySHARE USB Access and ReadySHARE Printer for sharing USB storage devices and prnters easily. It is also DLNA and AirPrint ready.

Sony BDP-S790 Blu-ray Player with WiFi

Sony is shipping its sleek BDP-S790 Blu-ray Disc Player with WiFi connectivity. The new model supports playback of Blu-ray Discs, DVD and CD, and sports a dual-core processor for faster responce and enhanced performance. Thanks to WiFi, the player can access Sony Entertainment Network for online media streaming including Ultraviolet streaming services provided by VUDU, Netflix, Pandora etc.
The Sony BDP-S790 supports 4K upscaling for enhance playback quality of HD and SD sources. It also includes IP Content Noise Reduction. The S790 supports DLNA for wireless media streaming from compatible devices, and there is font USB port for direct media playback. Other features include compatibility with HomeShare Network Speaker, and Media Remote iOS/Android app.The Sony BDP-S790 is priced at $249.

PNY introduces a new USB flash drive, the Key Attache that is joining your keychain. The drive is available in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB capacities, and offers up to 10MB/s write and 32MB/read speeds. Silver and Blue options are available.
The Key Attache has a cap less and tiny design, measuring 6.1mm xx 17.0mm x 32.7mm and weight 2.3g.
