As you know 3G Auction is being held on March 29th of this year. All the telecom giants in the world has been invited for bidding process by 3g?4G/LTE advisory comittee.
A reported by Dawn News, these giants included:
- AT&T of USA
- Japan’s DoComo
- British Vodafone
- Qtel of Qatar
- Roshan Telecom from Afghanistan
The report more said that Warid’s un-fit financial position for the bid, also Warid can possibly make a joint bid with some telecom firm from Malaysia. Qubee is also reported to be talks with current market players for a joint bid.
